Above Joy is a fashion brand shaped by craftsmanship, emotion, and the beauty of everyday moments. Based in Lefkada, Greece, it began as a small atelier above a pub called Joy. More than a location, this became a mindset—finding meaning in the simple, celebrating imperfection, and embracing the human touch.

The challenge was to create a brand identity that reflects this philosophy while maintaining a distinct and ownable presence in the fashion space. The approach was built around Handmade Happiness, a concept that embodies both the craft and emotional depth behind every piece. This led to a visual language that feels personal, intentional, and expressive. A key element of the identity is the handwritten logotype, taken directly from the writing of the founder’s child. This detail introduces an unfiltered, raw charm, reinforcing Above Joy’s dedication to authenticity. The typography system provides contrast—modern and structured—to balance the playfulness of the handcrafted mark. The color palette expands on this thinking, offering vibrancy without excess, allowing the personality of each piece to take center stage. The brand comes to life across fabric labels, packaging, digital platforms, and in-store signage, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience. Each application maintains consistency while adapting fluidly to different touchpoints. The result is a brand that stands apart—one that is honest, expressive, and deeply personal.
