Biocidetech is a newly established company based in UK, involved in the production of innovative natural products with biocidal effects.
Their request was to brand a new line of bio anti-insect formulas, based entirely on natural substances. Specialists from different fields, including industrial designer Yiannis Ghikas, and copywriter Sissy Caravia were called to join into a team. The idea was based on the truths of the use of the products in that category. You don’t want to get mosquito bites, you hate crawling insects, you look for protection. We developed a concept creating a brand with a couple’s name and a statement. Sam loves Betty. The name and brand identity represent the efficacy interpreted through the concept of caring. “We don’t want users to put our products away immediately after use, considering them as dangerous for themselves”, Biocidetech claims. Setting a highly aesthetic tone, a system of visuals was developed, avoiding the realistic and perhaps repulsive image of an insect, like a cockroach.
